            Dearth had 112 tackles, eight sacks, caused six fumbles had five fumble recoveries and collected one interception as a senior at Vestavia Hills. On Offense he caught 16 passes for 212 yards and three touchdowns.

The Tuscaloosa Black Bears were considered one of the best programs in the nation from 1925-1931. Their record over that span was an amazing 61-0-3.
