 High School Bio:

            He became Charles Hendersons all-time leading rusher his senior season after missing most of his junior year with a knee injury. He was a four-year starter and rushed for 1,523 yards and 15 touchdowns. On Defense he recorded 64 solo tackles, 77 assists and two interceptions.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
