 High School Bio:

            Ridgeway scored 48 points as a senior at Decatur. He caught 9 passes for 160 yards and gained 577 yards rushing on 104 carries. He returned punts and kickoffs for over 500 yards as a senior.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
