            Robert caught 39 passes for 573 yards and 14 touchdowns his senior season at Jeff Davis. He also scored 13 touchdowns as a junior. He was a consensus pick as the top tight end in the nation by many experts. He was considered a great blocker and pass receiver.

The Super 6 State Championships began in 1996. Since then all title games were played at Legion Field in Birmingham until 2009.
