            Dwone rushed for 2,320 yards ion 302 carries and scored 30 touchdowns for Lee in leading them to an 11-1 record. He set a state record with 52 carries in an 11-8 win over rival J.O. Johnson.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Homewood defeated Benjamin Russell in five overtimes during the Class 5A Super Six state championship game in 2000.
