High School Bio:
McNeil was a four-year starter at Blount and lead the Leopards to four straight 5A Championship Game appearances. He would dominate the action at the line of scrimmage and was great at stuffing the opponents running attack. He started 46 of the 49 games he played. His senior season saw him record 195 tackles (106 solos) with 13 sacks for minus 89 yards, 35 stops for losses of 157 yards, 26 quarterback pressures, five fumble recoveries, five forced fumbles, three interceptions and 13 pass deflections. Over his four year career he got in on an amazing 622 tackles and 44 sacks. He would graduate with a 3.16 GPA.
Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
