            Graves rushed for 4,859 yards and 61 touchdowns in his career at Holt. As a junior he gained 2,314 yards on 225 carries and scored 32 touchdowns. He ran for 1,659 yards on 268 carries and 20 touchdowns as a senior.

Foley outscored their opponents 433-6 in 1961. The Lions were named state champions by the Alabama Sports Writers Association that season.
