Brodie passed for a state record 9,323 yards and 105 touchdowns through one game of his senior year before tearing his ACL and missing the season. He completed 527 of 1,007 passes. He also set state records for single game passing yards (528), single season passing yards (3,787) and single season touchdown passes (44). In a 54-20 win over Donoho his junior year he threw for a state record 528 yards by completing 24 of 35 passes. As a junior he completed 175 of 282 passes for 3,787 yards and 44 touchdowns. As a freshman he completed 96 of 211 passes for 1,373 yards with 14 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.
