As a senior, Luke completed 85 of 150 passes for 1,636 yards and 15 touchdowns, and rushed for 376 yards and four touchdowns in leading Central High School to the Class 6-A playoffs for the second straight year. His team finished 11-2 and lost in third round of playoffs. As junior, he had some 2,000 yards of offense. He was named Phenix City-Columbus, Ga., Bi-Cities Player of the Year as junior and senior and finished career with 4,355 all-purpose yards and 42 touchdowns.
