 High School Bio:

            Williams caught 77 passes for 1,299 yards and 18 touchdowns for the Class 6A state champion Hoover Bucs. As a junior he caught 55 passes good for 11 scores. As a sophomore he had 49 catches for 565 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Foley outscored their opponents 433-6 in 1961. The Lions were named state champions by the Alabama Sports Writers Association that season.
