High School Bio:
Chris threw for a state record 4,120 yards and 59 touchdowns his senior season at American Christian. He completed 220 of 374 passes to break the record set by Brodie Croyle. He also threw for a state record 565 yards in a 31-43 loss to Brantley by completing 29 of 56 passes and three touchdowns. Chris started four games as a seventh grader and every game from the eighth grade through graduation, compiling a 59-12 record as a starter, including a 39-3 record from his 10-12 grade years. He led American Christian to 32 consecutive wins from the end of his ninth grade year through his senior year. He would finish his career by throwing for 10,385 yards and set a new state record with 134 touchdown passes.
Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
