Andre became the first offensive lineman to win the Mr. Football award given annually by the Alabama Sports Writers Association. He was named the state’s number one college prospect by many sources. He won the 2005 Bobby Dodd Award. Andre recorded 88 pancake blocks as a senior and considered one of the top offensive linemen in the nation.
