            As a senior, Jackson had 161 tackles and three interceptions. During his junior season at Hoover Jackson recorded 51 tackles, four tackles for loss and one interception.

Homewood defeated Benjamin Russell in five overtimes during the Class 5A Super Six state championship game in 2000.
