High School Bio:
Herman L. Kilpatrick of Mobile played tackle in the 1954 All-Star Game. Herman proved valuable to the South Squad as he played both offense and defense in high school. He was honored by being named to the All-City and Honorable Mention All-State Teams. He played two years of varsity football, was captain of his team and was coached by Ray Dicharry of McGill Institute.
Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
The Tuscaloosa Black Bears were considered one of the best programs in the nation from 1925-1931. Their record over that span was an amazing 61-0-3.
