As a senior Patton had 30 rushes for 371 yards and three touchdowns (12.37 avg) with a 86 yard run. Patton caught 71 passes for 89 1 yards and seven touchdowns (12.55 avg). The senior had five kick returns for 194 yards with an 88-yard long and a touchdown. He also converted two 2-point conversions. Patton finished his junior season with 845 yards receiving for 12 touchdowns. He also had one kick returned for a score. He rushed for more than 200 yards and totaled more than 300 yards on special teams. Patton hauled in 66 receptions as a sophomore for 950 yards and nine touchdowns.

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
