            Frank Riley, a punting, passing quarterback from Greenville, was an all round athlete playing baseball, basketball and football. Coach Luke Whetstone lists the following statistics for this quarterback: rushing: carries 82, net yards gained 334, average yards per try 4.07; passing: attempts 67, completed 22, total yards 843- completion average 32.2 pct., average gain per completion 24.99 yards; Punting: punted 21 times, 755 net yards, average 35.38.

The Super 6 State Championships began in 1996. Since then all title games were played at Legion Field in Birmingham until 2009.
