 High School Bio:

            Thornton recorded 56 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and eight sacks as a senior at Vigor High. He participated in the O-D All-American Bowl and Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game. He was named to the AL.com A-List and Coastal Alabama all-region. Thornton also played soccer and ran track. He was 247sports No. 5 DE, Top 120 overall, Rivals No. 9 DE, Top 130 nationally, Scout No. 17 DE, Top 150 nationally, ESPN No. 15 DE, Top 160 overall and PrepStar Top 15 DE.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Marion County defeated Meek 83-6 in a playoff game in 2012. It is the most points scored by a team in a playoff game.
