 High School Bio:

            Thomas Prescott will represent Elba High School in the All-Star games. Under Perino Gaithers coaching Thomas has excelled in blocking and tackling. He was clocked at 12.2 in full dress uniform on 100 yards. His honors include Best Blocker of 1952; Best Blocker of 1954; Honorable Mention All-State 1952 and 1953; All-State 1954;and team captain 1953 and 1954.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Morris Higginbotham coached three different teams to divisional state championships in the 1950s. He won titles at Walnut Grove in 1952, West Blocton in 1955 and Enterprise in 1960.
