            Simon ran for more than 8,500 yard in his career at Cordova and scored 130 touchdowns. In addition, Simon excelled on defense as a linebacker and safety, finishing his senior season with 130 tackles.

The Super 6 State Championships began in 1996. Since then all title games were played at Legion Field in Birmingham until 2009.
