            Lloyd Nix was a punting, passing quarterback from Carbon Hill with an enviable record. Lloyd played varsity football for three years; was captain of his squad; made All-State two years, and All-County three years. His other sports include baseball and basketball. Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
