 High School Bio:

            Larry Donaldson, 180 pound Center from Phillips High School, Birmingham, played with the North All-Star .football squad. Larrys athletic honors include All-City Center, and Honorable Mention All-State Center , His other sports include basketball and track, Larry played varsity football two years and his specialty was linebacker. J. R. Tarrant coached this fine athlete.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first football game played by a high school team in Alabama was in 1892 when Central Birmingham (Phillips) lost to Alabama 56-0 on November 11.
