Anderson had 105 tackles and 12 sacks as a senior in 2011 for the Daphne Trojans. He also posted 75 stops and 14.5 sacks as a junior, helping Daphne to the class 6A state championship with a 7-6 win over perennial power Hoover.
He was a member of the Alabama Sports Writers Associations Super 12 and was a ASWA 6A All-State selection. Anderson was No. 3 on the Birmingham News Super Seniors list. He was chosen to play in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic game following his senior season.
