 High School Bio:

            Chuck Jackson, winner of the Butler Trophy, All-Tennessee Valley Conference, All-Tri-City, Honorable Mention All-State, hailed from Deshler High School. He played fullback specializing in extra points and punting. Chuck, whose coach was Howard Chappell, played varsity football for three years, and was captain of his squad one year.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
