            Franks athletic honors include, All-City 1953, third team. All-State (Birmingham Post Herald) 1955, played three years of varsity football, and was captain of his squad. Other sports; basketball 4 years, baseball 3 years, track 2 years.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Parrish scored a record 77 points in a playoff game against Cedar Bluff in 2001. The Tornados were shutout the following week 19-0 by Courtland.
