            Norreds athletic honors include All-County two years, All-State one year. Other sports were baseball, track, and basketball. James has played four years varsity football, and grid statistics show 70 yard run for a touchdown against Woodlawn, 35 yard run for touchdown against Oxford.

Demopolis scored a record 761 points during the 2004 season. The Tigers finished the season 15-0.
