            Moseleys athletic honors; most outstanding lineman, most valuable player, Birmingham News All-State, Montgomery Advertiser All-State. His other sport was baseball. Elliott played three years varsity football; specialty; linebacker.

The Super 6 State Championships began in 1996. Since then all title games were played at Legion Field in Birmingham until 2009.
