 High School Bio:

            Stapp was voted Most Improved Player and Most Valuable Player at Shades Valley. He played three years varsity football, punted for a 42-yard average, and hit 61 percent of his passes. He also competed in track and cross country.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Morris Higginbotham coached three different teams to divisional state championships in the 1950s. He won titles at Walnut Grove in 1952, West Blocton in 1955 and Enterprise in 1960.
