            McCoy played four years of varsity football, captained the squad., specialized in tow-way duty, and earned All-County, All-State, All-5outhern, All-America, and was names West Alabama Lineman of the Year. He also played baseball and basketball.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Etowah defeated Oxford 69-63 in 1991 to set a state record for most points scored by both teams in a playoff game.
