 High School Bio:

            Luttrell was named All-Calhoun County three years, All-5tate, Most Valuable Class AA Back, honorable mention !All-America. He played varsity football five years, served as captain, and performed in basketball, baseball and track. He scored 64 touchdowns in last four years and, in 1957, averaged 10 yards per carry and 37 yards punting.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1969 the two point conversion was adopted for play following a touchdown. Until that time all conversions were worth one point.
