Clark was named All-Walker County two years, All-State, All-Southern, Honorable Mention All-America in football; All-District and All-County in basketball, and All-County two years in baseball. He played varsity football four years and was rated one of the state was best punters. As a senior, he gained 1,130 yards rushing, hit 12 of 30 passes for 230 yards9 and scored 18 touchdowns and five conversions.
Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
