 High School Bio:

            Moore was named All-Tri Cities and All-Tennessee Valley Conference footballer… Lettered four times each in baseball and basketball, played in East-West baseball game in Birmingham and was All-District and All-State in basketball… Caught five passes for 128 yards senior year; three of them for touchdowns and one for extra point. Also did placekicking.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first football game played by a high school team in Alabama was in 1892 when Central Birmingham (Phillips) lost to Alabama 56-0 on November 11.
