 High School Bio:

            Little made All-Conference, All-State, was named Outstanding Lineman for two years; Mr. Defense two years; Also played basketball and was Captain of the football team as a junior and senior. He averaged 11 individual tackles for 40 varsity games as linebacker and guard.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
