            Hayes was named All-County for three years, All-Conference two years, All-State two years; Also played three years basketball and baseball; Scored 18 touchdowns, seven extra points for total of 115 points. Two of touchdowns came via pass receptions; Gained 893 yards in 110 tries; Scored 17 touchdowns junior year.
