Charles Leverette
Charles Leverette graduated from Livingston where he was a letterman in 1952-53 and 1955-57 while playing football.
His first head coaching experience came at Washington County High School in Chatom, Alabama in 1958. Leverette spent four seasons at the school before landing the head coaching position at Mary Montgomery High School in Semmes in 1963.
Leverrette would remain with the Vikings program for ten seasons before moving to Shaw High School in Mobile for six years as the head football coach. Following the 1980 season Coach Leverrette retire from the sidelines with an overall record of 108-82-7.
He was a coach for the South team in the 1966 Alabama All-Star game in Tuscaloosa.
