Roger McDonald
Roger McDonald accepted the head coaching job at Beauregard in 2001 where he stayed for three seasons with an 18-13 record and two playoff appearances.
In 2005 he moved to Valley where in four seasons his team finished a combined 30-15 and reached the post season the last three seasons there. He also won a region championship in 2008. McDonald spent the 2011 and 2012 seasons at Greenville High School in Georgia where his teams went 13-10.
The 2013 season saw him back in Alabama at Carroll High in Ozark where he remained for seven seasons. His 2016 and 2017 teams completed the regular season undefeated with perfect 10-0 records. They both also won region titles.
Coach McDonald moved up the road to Dadeville in 2020.

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
