Leldon Spear enters his 1st season as Head Coach at Columbia. This was the first season Columbia fielded a team. The Eagles move from Class and into Region 7. The Eagles finished 6th in Region 7. The Eagles set a team record for margin of victory at 48 points.

Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
Collinsville completed the 1931 season with a record of 1-4-5. The five ties will forever be a state record since all games are now decided by overtime.
