It is open. The previous coach took an assistant principal position at Bob Jones. New principal just hired at East as well.

Go Eagles!

Hoovers HC is as good as gone! After seeing the videos going across TikTok and to think that stuff like this still exists. All I can say is WOW! Any ideas on who could be on Hoover's radar?

Also seen it was either the OC or DC that was put on leave too. Can't recall which. If it was half way into the season then I could see that being a thing on promoting someone within the staff but with a few weeks to go and it being Hoover, I wouldn't be surprised to see them find a big fish now.

Some times I think coaches forget video technology exists. Makes me wonder how often it happened before smartphones, drones, high definition cameras, etc. High school football coaches are still teachers first. This was a teacher acting out of line against a student. But too many still think they're military instructors in charge of new recruits getting ready to go to war (real war, not this silly sport we call a war sometimes).

Even though he was a division rival for many years I came to be a big fan of Tony Dungy. He found a way to win without all the yelling, screaming, and certainly without making violent physical contact with his players. From hearing some of his former players they were so motivated enough from his encouragement point of view that they worried about letting him down if they made a mistake on the field.

It?s the DC too I think. Both just resigned according to NBC in B?ham and they should be gone. That was unreal!

On another note, I hear Rush is available to take calls
