Yeah our local cable access channel has done a tremendous job over the years covering Marshall county and now they are digitizing their library and posting it on youtube. They have game film dating back to the 60's. I don't know why I chose that one, but I looked it up and found the discrepancy. |

I have spent the last 34 years filming Piedmont football games and yo tend to forget home much the equipment has improved. When I stated you tried to get the tailback to the linebackers and that was about all the cameras of the day would allow you to film. Today we get all 22 players in HD and color and sound.

Thanks Cody. That video brings back a lot of memories. Not the teams playing so much as I have never seen either one play live.
I did spend many Friday nights filming with an old 16MM camera. Trying to keep it going and not run out of film before the half ended.
I also was a huge fan of the wishbone back in the day. Now... not so much. I prefer the offenses of today. Back then the wishbone, if run properly, was a thing to behold.
