Coach Thomas passed away on Oct. 3, 1970, and he is buried at Oakwood Cemetery
In Lanett, AL.

He could not have coached at Bridgeport 1980-89 or at North Jackson in 1999

Thanks for the information. That has always been a problem when two different coaches have the same name. I try to catch as many as possible but some slip past me. I have it straight now.
