Coach Hargrove started the East Limestone Football program. He never had a losing record and led the first undefeated Indians football team.

I got to know Coach over the last few years while my kids were at East and I worked with the QB club. He was one of the most delightful older gentlemen I ever had the privilege to talk to. He was a good story teller and he loved to talk football. He was just a sweet person but every once in a while you could see that "coaching fire" come out in conversation. I
