There?s only 4 regions in 7A. I don?t think a region 1 south should face a Region 4 North in the first round. The whole point of the playoffs is there?s a south bracket and a north bracket until the finals. There should be no reason to intermingle the north and south until then. I get why they are doing it? They are trying to level the playing field so these other regions don?t get swept in the first round. there?s truly only 2 regions that hold the powerhouses (that?s 2 and 3). The other 2 are a joke. I don?t agree with the rotation.

it really hurts because it makes schools have to travel 350+ miles for a football game. i get why they want to do it though, make more competitive matchups in the first round. from what i understand, if this format was used last season, then theres a possibility of vestavia vs central since they were the 1 and the 4 in each region.

| If travel is apparently not an issue, maybe they should just seed 1-16. That would be different and give the best teams a chance to match up later in the playoffs. |

I'm not sure it's going to matter for the first round anyhow. R4 just isn't very good. The 6A teams up here usually beat them.
I don't know, 7A is probably my least favorite class to keep up with and this doesn't change it much. Feels like only maybe 3 teams ever have a shot at winning it all each year. |

Just make them go back to 6A. Alot of the schools in 6A shouldn't be 6A anyway.
Probably a dumb idea but 7A is the least interesting classification of them all because of so few teams. |
