With a win this past week over Southside-Selma, the Hornets clinched a first ever playoff berth. I may be wrong, but I believe that Bullock County was the only AHSAA member left who has been a member since the playoffs began for all classes in 1967, to never make it to the postseason. This would obviously end a record 52 straight seasons without a playoff berth.

You are correct. Bullock County was the only team in existence since the playoffs began in 1966 that had never qualified for a playoff spot.
