According to the newspaper roundup of scores from the Sunday paper Pinson won 20-14. That is what I have to go with unless you can produce something in print. I hope you understand the reasons for not changing scores simply because someone says we are wrong. If I did that I am certain oneday some clown would have me changing things just to see if I will. I am not being difficult but look at it from my point of view. I know it is possible the newspaper is wrong but it is all I have to go on.
I looked in my past scores and standings in relation to this. It was supposedly Pinson's only win that year. The standings the rest of the year in the paper reflected the one Pinson win. I know that mis-reported scores can cause the standings to be out of whack for the entire season, because those standings are based on the wire reports. What's the name of the paper that focuses on the Pinson/Gardendale/Fultondale area, North Jefferson something ? They might have different outcome of the game if they were in business then.
