Center Point completed the 2021 season with a 9-4 record. With their 5-2 region record and a third place finish in Class 5A region six, the Eagles earned a spot in the playoffs in 2021. Last year the Jasper Vikings finished with an overall record of 5-5 and in fifth place in Class 6A region six. The Vikings ended last season on a positive note with a win over Bessemer City by a score of 41-14 after failing to gain a playoff spot. Center Point and Jasper have met a total of 2 times on the football field. The Eagles have a 1-1-0 record against the Vikings. They last met in 2017 with Jasper winning by a score of 30-7.
