Cornerstone Christian completed the 2023 season with a 11-1 record. Last year Cornerstone Christian captured the region one title and a number one seed in the Class AISA-8 Man playoffs. They finished region play with a 5-0 record. It was the first region championship for the Chargers since the 2016 season. Last year Cornerstone Christian reached the semi-finals before falling to a very good Springwood team by the score of 18-66. Last year the Cornerstone Christian Chargers reached the AISA-AISA-8 Man State Championship game only to fall just short of claiming a title. They were defeated by Springwood in the State Championship game 18-66 in Troy.

The Chargers hope to continue the success they had last season. Coach Lee saw improvement as they won eleven games following a 6-5 record in 2022.
