The Douglas football team won?t be opening its 2010 season in Birmingham.
Third-year head coach Brian Knapp has replaced Woodlawn with Gaylesville.
The Eagles will play host to Gaylesville on Aug. 27, a Friday.
The Woodlawn game was originally set for Aug. 26, a Thursday.
?I had the hardest time finding game one,? Knapp said. ?I took Woodlawn because I had no choice.
?Gaylesville has an opening because they had a game with Coosa (Ga.) but got their dates mixed up.
