 Eddie Guth 

Eddie Guth worked as the defensive coordinator at Darlington High School in Rome, Georgia for ten seasons from 1984-1993. He moved to Mobile, Alabama in 1993 to become the defensive coordinator for the St. Pauls Saints.

Gerry Strang stepped down as St. Pauls head football coach following the 1995 season, and athletic director and defensive coordinator Eddie Guth was named as his replacement. Over the next ten seasons his Saints finished with a combined 77-41 record and reached the playoffs a total of eight times.

Guth stepped down after the 2006 season at St. Pauls He resurfaced in the fall of 2010 at St. Lukes High School in Mobile for a couple of seasons as the head football coach. His two teams went 4-13 with the young program.

In 2012, Coach Guth, 49, accepted the head coaching position at Randolph School in Huntsville. He replaced Jereme Mitchell who went 1-9 in his final season at the school.

Guth retired following the 2014 season with an overall coaching record is 91-74 in fifteen years as a head coach.
