  1983 - The Green Wave forfeited their victories over Ole Miss and Florida State.
  1998 - Tulane hired Chris Scelfo to replace the departing Tommy Bowden on December 7. He coached in the Liberty Bowl.
  2011 - The team was coached by interim head coach Mark Hutson following Bob Toledo's resignation on October 18.
  2023 - Interim HC Slade Nagle coached the bowl game following the departure of Willie Fritz.
