A few weeks back I predicted that this year would be the year that Plainview got past Fyffe. Unfortunately for Plainview I jinxed them. They lost their QB to a broken hand against us. He was an All State DB as well. Now it seems that they have lost their top running back as well. The running back was having an All State type of season. He had multiple games of 250 yards before his injury.
Slightly off topic he is a top shelf type of kid too. My kid had to tackle him and he said it hurts to tackle that guy but he is nice to you after each play. So if you are the praying type whisper one for him. He is the type of kid we need more of in HS ball.
