Brantley at Leroy: These programs both have a rich tradition. Leroy has traditionally been a 2A power, with 5 state championships. Brantley has been a powerhouse in 1A, winning 4 state titles. Although both teams have a rich history, this game will not be close as most expect. Leroy wins by three scores and moves on to the semifinals. Leroy 34 Brantley 12
Millry at Sweet Water: Millry won 1A, R1 by beating Leroy, who I believe will win the 1A title. Sweet Water is a household name in 1A so you can't count them out. Millry has to travel and I think this will be the difference. Playing in hostel territory, having little playoff experience will be their downfall. Millry wins a close one at home. Sweet Water 24 Millry 12
Marion County at Pickens County:Pickens County won the season finale against Marion County 51-21. Pickens County wins and I don't see it being close. Pickens County 36 Marion County 12
Lynn at Coosa Christian: The only advantage Coosa Christian has is they will be at home. Lynn wins and moves on to play Pickens County. Lynn 34 Coosa Christian 14

I think he?s saying if Millry was at home he?d take them in a close one but because they?re at Sweet Water he?s taking the Bulldogs instead |

I think it?ll be about the same, I could potentially see Leroy falling to Brantley.
Pickens County even still being in this thing is gut wrenching still, Meek had em beat last week and let ?em off the hook but with as many boys as they had sick the fact they mustard up the effort they did was amazing. In the North a Region 5 Championship rematch in Lynn is almost a lock |

This reminds me of the 1985 movie Clue.
Mrs. White: "He had threatened to kill me in public." Mrs. Scarlett: "Why would he want to kill you in public?" Wadsworth: "I think she meant he had threatened-in public-to kill her." |
